gone, but never forgotten...

what i remember about my mom…

she was a crass woman at times, but she loved completely.
her laugh was loud and contagious.
her smile lit up her face.
she wore the reddest lipstick she could find.
she was a CNA.
she was a waitress.
she and my dad owned a dog grooming business.
she ran Port Henry Beach campsite for a summer.
she didn't start driving until she was in her 40's.
she had the BEST legs.
she loved Bingo.
she loved coffee. hmmmmm…the apple doesn't fall far ;)
we loved our 'cafe mocha moments.'
she loved her family the MOST.
and pina coladas and bailey's.
she wasn't a very good cook.
she loved books. so many books.
and puzzles. jigsaw. crossword. searchaword.
and cards.
she played mahjong. and bowled.
she yelled much. but hugged often.






she was my mom.
five years gone. we still miss you.
love you.
always.
