snow day, legos and hot chocolate!

We finally got a good Northeast snowstorm!!

yay!

and the boys' first snow day for this school year!

it's about time :)

so...what is that expression again about March?
...in like a lion...

Out of the mouths of babes....

3/24/11 Nick at the dinner table: "why do i have to be bossed around by so many adults?" hahahaha! 9/13/10 Stephen: "let's stop talking about vampires right now-they are in the front of my brain, and i want them at least in the middle." :) 8/17/10 Jake says after we were discussing baptism: "I'm too little to be appertized!" LOL 5/7/10 while watching the movie "the Tooth Fairy," just after the Rock gets hit in the private area with a tennis ball, Jake says, "oh! he got hit in his kiwis!" LOL i was hysterical for about 10 minutes!! haha! 4/23/10 Hank and I were putting the boys to bed when Hank hugged Nick and passed some gas...Nick said, "Stephen! come here and hug dad and smell his filthiness!" hahahaha! 3/2010: Jake said to grandma when she brought him a new comforter for his twin bed: "I love my new comfortable!" :) Jake said while riding in the car: "I just want to be a "man" when I grow up." :) We were out at Shenentaha park, the boys were riding their bikes on the path, and after about 30 minutes Jake said, "my am exhausted!" "exhausted?" I said. Jake said, "Do you know what exhausted means? It means my am really tired and don't have any more bike power." LOL (9/6/09) Jake: Mom, can I have some patella? LOL (he meant to say "nutella") The boys were watching "Flash" the series (i think it was made for TV in the 80's). A "bedroom" scene came on (kissing and such), and I said to Hank: "I don't think this is appropriate for the boys to be watching." At that moment, Nick placed one hand over his eyes, and the other hand over Hank's eyes! LOL! I guess Nick didn't think it was appropriate for daddy to be watching either! Nick: "Dandelions are suns shining in the grass!" Stephen: "Mom, I love you more than anything!" Jacob: "The trees talk to me." what are they saying? "I don't know. It's a secret!" Jacob said (while holding Stephen's bug vacuum): "I'm gonna suck up all the mean people & throw them in the garbage!" Stephen was playing with his farm set: "Daddy, is this a silophone?" LOL! Nick: "What kind of bird is that?" Me: "That's a humming bird." Nick: "What's he humming about?" :O)
